2008 Toyota Prius

If you are looking for a low-priced, high performing, eco-friendly hybrid vehicle, look no further than the 2008 Toyota Prius; it defies your expectations of this class. This gas/electric hybrid car is a five-passenger, 4-door hatchback that sports an array of impressive options.
The 2008 model doubles a DOHC 16-valve VVT-i 4-cylinder engine with an electric permanent magnet AC synchronous motor for 110 hp. The hybrid system intelligently determines whether to run on the gas engine, electric engine or both to maximize acceleration, fuel economy and performance. You can expect to get an estimated 46 mpg with this new marvel. It does this with its electronically controlled continuously variable automatic transmission; the Prius is an excellent package that truly sets this car apart from others.
Standard with the 2008 model is a driver/front passenger Advanced Airbag System, driver/front passenger front seat-mounted side airbags and front/read side curtain airbags. Other available safety features include an Anti-lock Brake System, Traction Control, a Direct Tire Pressure Monitor System, Anti-skid systems and hordes of other features and options.
Along with the 2008 Prius’ excellent fuel economy, safety and performance statistics, you can expect nothing less than an attractive and innovative vehicle system. You get excellent storage space, a push button start, 60/40 split fold-down rear bench seating, a Tonneau cover, a Voice-activated DVD navigation system and the various monitor systems to help keep vehicle diagnostics in check. Most of the features come standard with the Touring model, but with my standard model, they were available as an additional option. You can customize this diamond in the rough any way you see fit!
