Toyota At 2008 Geneva Motor Show

Toyota At 2008 Geneva Motor Show

The Geneva Motor Show runs from March 4th to the 16th, and Toyota promises to have a few exciting new vehicles to check out. So let’s take a peek at them now.

One is the Toyota IQ Mini.

Toyota recently announced that the Geneva Motor Show will have a production ready IQ Mini, to be built starting late this year! I see this as Toyota quickly adapting to the changing desires of car buyers. While large SUV’s used to be the rave, and crossovers are still popular, there has been a growing demand for small cars. That on top of Smart’s introduction to the U.S. market, means more competition. If Toyota is to have a piece of the “tiny” car market, the IQ Mini looks like a worthy introduction into it.

And because crossovers are still popular, there’s the Urban Cruiser Crossover:

The Urban Cruiser is a small SUV concept that will debut at the Geneva Motor Show.  This will apparently make it to the European market, and Toyota is calling it a small and environmentally friendly SUV. It’s built on the Scion xD. No word on a release in the states, but the vehicle looks promising.

When the Geneva Motor Show hits we’ll have more new and images for you, so come back!
